Last updated May 6, 2026. These terms are intentionally plain: use the site honestly, do not abuse other people, and remember that community reports are not official facts until they are reviewed.
Using Shrinkflation
Shrinkflation lets people submit and review reports about product size, price, ingredient, packaging, and location changes. You may browse public pages without an account. Some actions, including reporting, verification, comments, votes, disputes, and donation checkout, may require signing in.
Your contributions
When you submit reports, comments, confirmations, disputes, photos, or other material, you are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit false information, private information about another person, copyrighted material you do not have permission to use, or anything intended to harass or mislead.
You allow Shrinkflation to display, store, summarize, rank, moderate, and use your contributions to operate the site and improve public evidence pages.
Community review
A report can be wrong, incomplete, duplicated, disputed, or outdated. Verification, evidence strength, scores, comments, and rankings are community and system signals. They are not guarantees.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity from your account. We may limit, hide, remove, or disable access when activity appears abusive, automated, misleading, unsafe, or harmful to the community.
Donations
Donations help cover hosting and operating costs. Stripe handles payment details. Donations are voluntary and do not buy special verification power, ranking placement, or influence over claims.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. We may change, pause, remove, or break parts of the service while improving it. We do not promise that the site will always be available, accurate, complete, or error-free.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use of Shrinkflation means you accept the current version.
